Off-Grid Water Supply Solutions

I just posted a piece on Possum Living, called "Flushing With A Bucket: Off-Grid Water Supply Realities". As the title implies, the article deals with one solution to the problem of what to do for a toilet at the off-grid homestead.
Of course, the traditional solution to that problem is an outhouse, and I think every homestead should have an outhouse if possible, but an indoor flush toilet sure is a nice thing to have. This article details how to have one, even if you don't have running water. Also included is a link to a free homesteading ebook. Check it out!

Having a flushing indoor toilet would be great to have. Thanks for the link Tracy.

And if you can't build an outhouse, a port-a-potty is a great alternative! (Smells better, too!! :-))
